Hi! I’m Jeffrey. I am a researcher in materials science and engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, working with Pinshane Huang on advancing the technique of electron ptychography. My PhD thesis focused on using 4D scanning transmission electron microscopy to study antiferromagnetic materials and 2D materials.

I enjoy solving math puzzles and programming.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from Cornell University in 2019.
